Homemade PVC speaker cans
The pods mount securely to the PVC pipe with a base bracket using the supplied four (4) 8-32 button head cap screws (BHCS), molded washer (for inside of tube curvature) and a nyloc nut. The base easily mounts over fabric/blanket and securely holds onto the tube. The PVC tube does not need to be cut to provide clearance for the 3" speaker pods.

My materials list is for a pair of pods. (2)6" schedule 40 PVC caps 6-8" piece of schedule 40 PVC pipe (2) muffler clamps (2-2.5" depending on mounting location) (4) flat washers that fit the muffler clamps (1) can of spray paint for plastic (1) pair of "oversized 6.5" speakers (6.75 maybe) A scuffing pad or fine grit sand paper

Mids measure about 3" but took some dremel to clearance the last little bit of connector/frame. I inserted a piece of 3" pvc into a 3x3" coupling since the holes measure wider than the 3" pipe outer diameter. Routed a 3.5" circle out of a cutting board to seal up the rear and epoxied that in place. Wrapped the mid pods in vinyl and viola! Mid pods!
